Chile Global Diplomacy Project
The Chile Global Diplomacy Project is a grassroots, cultural exchange program devoted to furthering understanding through communication.

The project is a collaboration of Emerson College professor Dr. Gregory Payne, Emerson students and alumni, DuocUC professors Nelson Ayala and Macarena Urenda, and DuocUC students from Concepción, Santiago, and Viña Del Mar.  Two Emerson students and one alumnus visited Chile in August, 2011 and attended official presentations, discussions, and dialogues with academic, business and communication leaders in three Chilean communities.  Through these events and additional discussions with local students, the Chile Global Diplomacy Project emerged.

Beginning as a cultural exchange, the project continues through virtual collaborations between Emerson and DuocUC students who are working to create various public diplomacy initiatives in their respective communities.  This website provides information regarding the initial visit of Dr. Payne and Emerson students to Chile as well as follow-up between DuocUC and Emerson students and professors.
